EWP under 11m

This Verification of Competency (VOC) assesses an operator's ability to safely operate an elevating work platform (EWP) under 11 metres — including scissor lifts, vertical (mast) lifts and boom-type EWPs with a boom length below 11m. The VOC does not replace evidence of training for the operator but is intended to maintain compliance with the WHS and OHS Regulations by ensuring operators remain suitably and adequately trained within the refresher periods of their certifications. Assessment is conducted by a qualified assessor and combines a knowledge assessment (written and/or verbal questioning) with direct observation of the operator performing the task on the relevant EWP class against a practical assessment checklist. VOCs are recommended every 12 months to verify ongoing currency, separate to the statutory 5-year renewal of a TLILIC0005 High Risk Work Licence (boom-type EWP 11m or more) and/or RIIHAN301E (under 11m) recommended every 3 to 5 years.   What to provide: · You will be required to provide the required EWP class for operation on the site that will need to be inspected prior to use by the assessor to ensure compliance. · A suitable room or space for the theory presentation and assessment · A site suitable space to conduct the practical observation of operators using the EWP in a safe manor with exclusions from staff and pedestrian/vehicle traffic · All documentation for the EWP including logbook, maintenance records and operator’s manual · All PPE including Harnesses and lanyards (for boom type EWP)

Upon successful completion the operator will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
